Feel the excitement of the battlefield.
Hear the cannons roar, the muskets report in your imagination
as you visit the site of the last major battle of the Revolutionary
War. It was at Yorktown Virginia where British General Cornwallis
surrendered his army to General George Washington and the
allied French forces.

While on your private guided tour you will see the house where
the surrender was negotiated, the cave where General Cornwallis took refuge from the bombardment and the canon ball in the home
of the Virginia Governor who ordered his own house shelled to
rout the British occupying it. If a visit to the museum is in
the itinerary, you will see “the” cannon made famous
by General Marquis
de Lafayette.
You will hear the most patriotic words of one who loved America,
who loved George Washington and who in turn George Washington
called “his son”. This man, whose name will be revealed
to you, named his son George Washington.
