Terms for Private Tours

There will be no other persons on your tour except those you bring to make up your group .

 No deposit required

We do not require a deposit believing that this is a friendlier and easier way of doing business for all.   

Cancellation policy & Agreement To Meet Your Guide

You agree to pay for the tour unless you can cancel your tour with 24 hours advance notice (no reason required)  by calling us until you personally reach us at 757-897-9600. Of course severe weather at the start time of the tour, injury or sickness are certainly acceptable reasons to cancel within the 24 hour period preceding your tour but you must notify us to prevent our guide from being sent out.

 Please dress appropriately for the weather and  bring umbrellas if a possibility of rain.
 
 Liability Agreement
Colonial tours and it's guides are being hired to provide oral history, not to provide limited or unlimited injury responsibility. The tour services provided by Colonial Tours  are verbal history. Colonial tours has no control of the upkeep and maintenance of the boardwalk, streets, beach and property where the tours are given. It shall be agreed by taking a tour that Colonial Tours and it's guides will not be held responsible for any type of injury including but not limited to: falls, fainting, tripping, bee stings, etc. and that during such tour, that guests will assume due diligence and responsibility for their own physical well-being just as they would if the guide were not present.

 

Cost of Tour

 

The cost for the 1 1/4 hr Ghost/Lantern tour:

(additional persons are $12 each).

special rates are quoted for groups of more than 19 persons
